 Cockroaches are scavengers. They eat just about anything; glue, grease, soap, wallpaper paste, leather, book bindings, or even hair.

  1. Cockroaches are Coptophagous – Eat their own faecal matter.
  2. Cockroach can survive for more than 3-4 months without food.
  3. Cockroaches can live for weeks without their heads
  4. Cockroaches mate one time; the female stores the male’s sperm throughout her twelve-month lifespan and uses it on an as-needed basis, producing up to 400 offspring.
  5. Few species of cockroach can survive a nuclear attack.
  6. Cockroaches have six but also have 18 knee joints.
  7. Thigmotactic in nature
